Glossary of Terms

Domain Name:
This is the actual address that people will enter in their web browser to access your site like www.example.com. These usually cost money per year. With ONEzer this cost is included in your monthly fee. Already have your own, no problem you can use a domain name that you already own.

Traffic Analytics Reports:
These reports are included in your monthly fee. They allow you to see how many visitors come to your site, which pages are most popular, and how long visitors stay on each page. You can even see which pages visitors exit your site from to see where you might be loosing people.

Gigabyte:
This is data space measurement used on computers. One Gigabyte (1GB) equals one thousand and twenty four Megabytes (1024MB). Pictures and videos will take up the bulk of your space on your site. Just view the image or video properties on your computer to find out how much space the file actually takes up. If the size is in Kilobytes (KB) then it is even smaller than one Megabyte (1MB).

Storage Space:
This refers to how much space you will have to store content (text, images, and videos) on your website.

Bandwidth:
This refers to how much actual content can be transferred from your site to the computers of those who view it. When people view your site it uses up bandwidth. The more content that people view, the more bandwith you use. The amount of data that a viewer views depends on the type of content you have on each page of your site and how many pages the viewer is accessing. If the average viewer of your site views 3 pages and you have a few photos on each page then 1 Gigabyte of bandwidth should be enough. However if you are planning on posting thousands of photos and some large movie files directly into your ONEzer site you may want to purchase a plan with more bandwidth. ONEzer always monitors its clients data usage so if you are ever in need of more bandwith or space we will let you know and help you upgrade to the apropriate plan. As a rule of thumb, if your site will not be content heavy (no more than a few pictures per page) then it should be able to accomedate thousands of viewers per month on our basic plan.
